Gotta love the beach~ While we were on vacation in Perdido, Thomas and I had our four year anniversary! (I asked for cheesy beach pics for my anniversary gift!) haha. I can't believe that I have been married 4 years. ahhhh. The past four years have flown by so fast and have been absolutely perfect! (even better now that PT school is over!)
Buck and his new dog bed that I made for him and Marley. Big dog beds are so expensive and I refuse to buy another one! Instead I bought three king size pillows on sale at Fred's for the inside and found fabric on sale at Hancocks! Can't find a bed that cheap anywhere! (and it matches our master bedroom comforter)!
This is the apron I made for my sister-in-laws Dad. You wouldn't believe how hard it is to find material for a crawfish themed apron!

The girls at the beach! I can't wait to plan a trip to Louisville!
The Crawdad Hole~
Georgestreet~

Thomas and I at the Lowry's reception in Blowing Rock, NC. Perfect!
This is my friend Brittany, who is a former therapist at Baptist. She left a few months ago to be a physical therapist assistant in Honduras. I am sure God is using her in so many amazing ways! I could sit and read her blog all day long. Miss you Brittany!

Catch up.......

Wow. My last post was in March! I am such a terrible blogger! To be honest, I have been so busy that I forgot about my blog. So now is catch up time!

The last few months:
1. Had so much fun in Batesville (actually Pope) at my brother's crawfish boil! My sister-in-law is from Baton Rouge and her Dad cooks for our annual crawfish boil. SOOO delicious! I was honored to make the crawfish apron this year. Will post pics later of my latest sewing projects!
2. Worked lots of weekends at Baptist... Boo (one which included missing out on visiting Brookley in Austin~ sad)
3. Wedding, engagement party, wedding, engagement party....
4. Did I mention that my husband is living in Shreveport, LA during the week for work. urgghhh
5. Took a whole week vacation that was amazing! We went to Perdido Beach in May with friends from Louisville-Kirk, Catherine, Ryan, and Meg!
6. One night in Birmingham with Holly and Tice Young. Miss Bham soooooo much! Itching to go visit my friends at Princeton. Need a reunion!
7. To finish the vacation off we headed to Blowing Rock, NC for the Lowry's wedding. It was beautiful. The mountains were beautiful and I could definitely get used to hiking every week!
8. Went to a sweet baby shower for Baby Hendrix. So much fun and great to meet new people!
9. Watched and made fun of the Bachelorette with sweet friends. Gotta love tv girls night! Especially when the hubby is out of town during the weeks!
10. This coming weekend headed back to the ole Batesville. Celebrating my parent's birthdays, father's day, and going to a wedding brunch! Can't wait to catch up with my family and best friends from home. I am so blessed! God is good!

Yes, I have a new hobby of sewing. The last two pics are two outfits that I have made recently. One was my nephew's birthday present and the other for Claire Melvin's baby shower. My mother-in-law gave me a wonderful sewing machine for Christmas with a sewing class. It was so much fun and I can't wait to make more outfits, curtains, and pillows! I am already turning into my mother (wanting to start back playing piano, sewing, and tennis) SCARY!

Kate, Jennifer, and Jordan came over. Love having a Batesville get together in Jackson!
